Job description

Would you LOVE to work in Wolfville (the coolest little town in Nova Scotia!!) We're a small and connected team looking for a teammate. If you're a massage therapist that loves to work around positive & supportive therapists with a variety of clients in a super respectful and professional clinic this might be for you.

What would your week look like? We work 6 hour shifts (that means 5 x 1hr massages) with easy to use electric beds, you get admin support for all your billing as well as extra hands to do your laundry. We help you attract clients that fit your niche skills and favorite treatments and we aim to provide fun team experiences to help you grow as a therapist and stay connected as a team. We also have an extended health care plan and prioritize self care.

Being a Massage Therapist is hard work, we get that!! -that's why we're creating a clinic that can support the therapists as best as possible and that way we can take care of our clients and community.

Requirements

- Active registration with MTANS and/or MTWPAM.
– Graduate of a Massage Therapy diploma program.
– Experience or education in treating clients in an outpatient setting.
– An appreciation for a holistic approach to health care that emphasizes whole-person care and embraces a team approach to helping our clients, practitioners, and ourselves.

Job Summary

The ideal candidate will provide professional and engaging wellness therapies to our clients, promoting relaxation, stress relief, and overall well-being. If you've taken specialty training, we want to know! We'll promote that, attract clients that can use your special care and help you build a practice that makes you smile every time you look at your schedule.

Tasks

- Perform various massage techniques and treatments to address individual client needs

- Maintain detailed records of client consultations and treatment plans (in JaneApp)

- Create a comfortable and relaxing environment for clients

- Educate clients on the benefits of regular massage therapy

- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals as needed

Skills

- Proficiency in medical terminology related to massage therapy

- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively

- Ability to tailor massage treatments to individual client needs

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Casual

Pay: $65.00-$75.00 per hour

Expected hours: 15 – 25 per week
